Another solid Surface review

In reading these reviews you realize that everyone has their biases, opinions (this is “journalism” after all right?), influences, etc but what I’ve appreciated about Wired and The Verge’s write ups is they seem to be being pretty honest.

I feel like I actually have a good idea of where the device fits in to the world around me upon initial inspection. I can tell that there’s going to be things that I like about it that neither review may have liked or vice versa.

When there seems to be a lot more bashing going on in the media than between the actual companies competing I think there is a problem with the media. I didn’t get that feeling nearly as much from Wired or The Verge. It would be great if more tech journalists covered devices and technology rather than gossip.

Thanks Wired and The Verge for just being a couple of guys talking about the new thing you just got to take for a spin.
