So Catherine & I were supposed to already be in Minneapolis to connect to our flight for Paris but we woke up a little later then we had planned, missed the exit on the way to the airport and missed the half hour cut off.
We knew this trip was going to be interesting; seeing as how the only thing we planned was a hotel for the first 7 days. Other then that we have no idea what we’re going to be doing on our first trip to another continent.
Even though it isn’t happening exactly the way we thought it would, we can’t help but think that it’s all happening exactly the way it’s supposed to.
Even now I’m writing this from the plane but won’t be able to publish it until we get to Cincinnati. If you remember I mentioned we were supposed to be in Minneapolis by now.
It’s all part of the adventure right? All I’m looking forward to right now is getting to Pisa, Italy where we will have to catch a train to Florence. That was something we didn’t realize until I called the airlines three days ago. Originally when we bought the tickets we got them because they were the cheapest tickets to Florence, Italy. After looking closer I found out they were the cheapest because Pisa is a popular tourist town and you can jump on a train that takes about an hour, maybe an hour and a half.
All that said, I’m so excited for this new life with my brand new bride…Catherine.
